A great relaxed spot to unwind after a long day. Quality food of Spanish and. Chilean origin mixed with a fusion of wholesome and very reasonably priced meals. Some nights have live music and there is a bakery onsite. One of the few places in Lagos that you can walk into not knowing anyone and walk out with new friends.
La tarvena is a delightful spot for an Italian evening with friends. The pizza was the star of the night—thin crust, perfectly charred, and loaded with fresh, authentic toppings, which was tempting that i had to get another. Every bite tasted like Italy! The wine selection was impressive and paired beautifully with our meal, adding a touch of elegance to the evening. The cozy yet modern ambiance made it easy to relax and enjoy great conversations. While service could have been a bit quicker, the overall experience was worth it. Definitely a place to return for pizza and wine lovers!
Being Italian I can say that the interior reminds me so much of those Italian trattorie, the vibe is very cozy and welcoming. The food is great and the prices are so reasonable. It definitely became my new go to weekend spot. Thank you La Taverna for existing here in Lagos !
The ambience at La Tarvena isn’t bad — quite cozy and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the Pina Colada, mocktails, and milkshake, all of which were refreshing and well-prepared. The Chinese rice was top-notch — flavorful and perfectly done. Overall, a pleasant experience and definitely worth a revisit.

The recent minor renovations have given the place an even more inviting vibe, making it a great spot to unwind. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the service was top-notch. To top it all off, the value for money here is fantastic—you truly get more than you pay for. I’ll definitely be back soon!
I mean the stand out thing here are the prices! Totally affordable and reasonable, and it says something that it’s always full!! The food is great, the portions are generous and the staff are friendly, really what more could you want! This is going to become my regular.

I visited La Taverna recently and had an overall above-average experience. The food was definitely the highlight—everything we ordered was very tasty and well-presented. The flavors are authentic and hit the right spot. The ambience is okay—pleasant enough for a casual dinner. However, the service could definitely be improved. Despite the restaurant not being busy when we arrived, we waited quite a while to be attended to. Even throughout the meal, getting service wasn't very prompt. Great spot if you aren't in a hurry and want a delicious meal, but I hope they can sharpen up their response times!
